Operation CA
After all the ups and downs and beatings my company has been getting in 2008.
We always seem to keep it together. Continuing with what we have to do and try to make things happen, regardless of what anyone tries to do or say!

Here is a look at the New Branding Campaign for
Christian Audigier The Nightclub.
Presto!!!!
Presto!!!!

(Currently listening to The Bronx, Knife man Track. Download it for free here)

So! It's been a long, hard road to get to where we are now. With the opening a week away, we can only hope for success and a pleased customer audience. The Grand Opening Gala will be on the 4th of July. Mr. Chris Weeks will be the man shooting the event. Hopefully that fucker will have some lunch or hang out with me before the event starts. ;)

Celebrity and Newly Wed, Nick Cannon will be DJing that night. His new wife will also be in attendance. (Good Luck Chris, ha!).

Anyway. With the opening near us and the announcement made that Audigier will be partnering with us. The press wanted some info on the venue and how the decor looked. The place was and still is under construction. But we managed to get something for them to distribute.

Last Tuesday I went to the venue and met up with my Marketing Director. Since construction was still under way, He had a good idea. To shoot the mirrors. The mirrors have some really cool silver skulls with diamonds embedded on them.

I shot the mirror with the skulls and got the reflection of the VIP table/booth.
Here are the photos. :)

I prefer the RAW Image myself, but I had to give 2 versions of this shot for PR to choose. They chose the 2nd one.

Here is what came out of this shoot so far:)

Most likely before the opening I will shoot the rest of the Venue. I am really pumped to do so. Especially that 40,000 gallon Jelly Fish tank. I really am looking forward to shooting that. I never shot a fish tank before.... I wonder how I would set up the lighting for something like that? If you guys have any ideas, please let me know!!

Hope everyone is have a good weekend so far.

Sincerely,

Carlos!

The shot looks awesome. As far as lighting a tank of that size..... From above is the only way I would know of. 40K gal. is a lot of water to light. I would be selective with it.
Posted by mrLarios on July 02, 2008 3:02 PM
Cool!!! Thanks for the info!!!!
Posted by Darren Aba... on July 01, 2008 12:20 AM

the hotlinks made me laugh. i just sent a mutual friend, "are you fucking kidding me with that event on 4 july? the dumb fat fuck had like 3 people show up at his lv "signing" at hot topic. bet you $20 that the event sucks, love. ;)"

should be interesting this weekend.

ya' gonna try and not be a pussy and make it out? and ... when i'm there ... i have no car.

my sleep patterns are fucked.

and ... when i eat is when i'm awake and my brain tells me to do so.

that said ... yeah ... i hope our scheds collide and we get to eat!

those interior shots are dope!

B- A 40,000 gal. jellyfish tank?! Ho - ly shit! Good luck with that one. Although, I'm sure it will be awesome as usual!

Ha! Thanks on the compliment on the Branding Campaign (1st Image). It was a joint creative adventure between us and the Audigier peopz. I created the concept, they finished it up and add the "golden" look to it. The snake is one of Audigiers tattoo illustrations.

As for the whole fish tank thang.... I am crossing my fingers my friend:)

Cheers!
